Guilin Dawei Communications Technologies Co***ny locates in the worldwide famous tourist city¡ªGuilin, since 1990. It is the earliest researching organization about optical fiber communication in China. Now, as an important branch of CETC(China Electronic Technology Group Co***ny), it has become a professional scientific and technological research institute, specialized for both military and civilian optical communications. Guilin Dawei Communications Technologies Co***ny is assigned as the integration co***ny of the military optical communication system by the General Armament Department and the General Staff Department, PLA.
Now, the co***ny owns total assets of over 70 million dollars, of which more than 40 million in fixed assets. There are about 1200 employees there, more than 30 of them are national and ministry (province) level experts, 130 professors and senior engineers, over 470 engineers, more than 950 people with bachelor degree of above. More than 79 percent employees are the technical staff. Dozens of experts have been granted as the national outstanding individuals, enjoying the government¡¯s special allowance, and many experts are also granted as ministry outstanding individuals.
